PRIOR TO PHOTO DAY/S
Too Cute is lucky to work very closely with Centre Directors throughout the year and the Photo Day process.
All ABC Centre Directors are asked to register their centre information and preferences for the following year's photo day during September/October each year as advised via the ABC Intranet. We endeavour to meet all requests wherever possible, while catering to every ABC Early Learning Centre. Centres will be notified of their photo dates for the following year by December.
4-5 weeks prior to the centre photo date Too Cute will despatch an information kit to the Centre Director containing:
- Barcoded Pre-Paid Order Envelopes for every enrolled child
- Spare envelopes for new enrolments
- A Sample Book to display in the foyer
- Posters to display around the centre notifying your families of your centre photo dates
- Centre Director Information - Tips for a Successful Photo Day
Your Centre Director should be able to answer any questions you may have, however if he or she cannot, please ask them to pass on your query or contact us directly on 07 5586 2777 or via email info@toocute.com.au
THE PHOTO DAY/S
Our photographers arrive at your centre at 7:30am and will be ready to begin photographing children from 8:30am. A basic guideline of how the day has proven to work best follows. Remember every day varies depending on numerous factors, such as number of children, number of orders, number of sibling photos, organisation of centre staff, space provided and children’s mood:
7:30am – 8:30am:

8.30am:

8:30am – 11:00am:
School aged and non-attending siblings are photographed first. Children who have made a special trip on non-attendance days take priority over those who attend on photo day. Parents of these children are asked to book a timeslot prior to 11:00am with the Centre Director to minimise waiting times. |
11:00am – 1:00pm:

Our photographers are trained to capture and select the best image of your children for use in the class composite, as individual portraits and sibling portraits, however parents are encouraged to assist in this selection process if in attendance on photo day. If we feel your child is too upset or not responsive, we will return your pre-paid envelope to the centre director.
Our photographers may also ask parents to leave the room if they feel that the child is either misbehaving or losing focus due to the presence of the parent. This is not meant to offend, it is simply our experience that some children can be harder to photograph with parents in the room.
Too Cute photographers are not authorised to groom or supervise the children. The children will be supervised by their ABC carers at all times. We will photograph the children as they are presented to us. If you have any requests regarding special outfits or the presentation of your child, please outline these with your child’s carer on the morning of Photo Day or attach a small note to the front of your pre-paid order envelope.
AFTER THE PHOTO DAY/S
Our administration team at Too Cute will contact the Centre Director prior to the photos being produced to clear up any last minute issues and to double check staff and child information. All of our photos are colour corrected and some may be retouched, with any major blemishes removed from faces by our retouching team. Our unique yearbook style class composite is then hand crafted to ensure a wonderful presentation of every child and staff member.
We quote a delivery standard of 4 to 6 weeks from your last photo day. This is in-line with Industry standards. If we can produce and deliver your photos more quickly, we will, however the management of Too Cute believes that delivering a high quality product is most important, as you have paid good money for our product, so our images must last for many years to come.
Thank you for ordering with Too Cute. We are sure you will be delighted with the photos of your “Too Cute” kids!
